Dogs need more than a daily walk to stay happy and healthy. While regular exercise is an important part of their routine, mental stimulation, opportunities to explore, and activities that engage their natural instincts are just as valuable. At Pawsitivity Pet Services, we understand that every dog has different needs, so we believe enrichment is an important part of caring for your pet. For dog owners in Leesburg, VA, there are plenty of ways to incorporate enrichment into a

As dogs get older, their needs begin to change. Long walks that were once a favorite part of the day may become more tiring, and activities that used to come naturally might require a little extra patience. However, getting older doesn't mean your dog has to give up enjoying the outdoors. With the right approach, regular walks can continue to be an important part of your senior dog's daily routine. At Pawsitivity Pet Services, we understand that senior dogs deserve the same o

Bringing home a new puppy is an exciting experience, but it also comes with plenty of changes to your daily routine. Between potty breaks, meals, playtime, training, and helping your puppy settle into their new home, there is a lot to keep up with. Puppies have plenty of energy and curiosity, and they need regular opportunities to explore the world around them while learning what is expected of them. At Pawsitivity Pet Services, we understand how important those early months

Getting a pet where they need to go is not always as simple as putting them in the car and heading out. Between busy work schedules, vet appointments, grooming visits, and other daily responsibilities, pet parents in Leesburg, VA, may find themselves needing a little extra help with transportation. That is where a pet taxi service can make a difference. At Pawsitivity Pet Services, we understand how important it is to know that your pet is in good hands, especially when you c

By Kaitlyn Kranenberg, Owner One of the most common things we hear from prospective clients is: "How do you hire your team?" It's a fair question. After all, when you hire a pet care company, you're not simply hiring someone to walk your dog or scoop a litter box. You're trusting someone with your pets, your home, your routine, and your peace of mind. That level of trust isn't something we take lightly. In fact, before any team member is allowed to care for pets on their own

By Kaitlyn Kranenberg, Owner When I started Pawsitivity Pet Services, I had a very clear vision for what pet care should look like. My dog wasn't the friendliest dog in the world. He thrived on routine, familiarity, and knowing exactly who was coming into his space. Because of that, I built my company around a simple idea: every family should have the same pet sitter or dog walker every time. At the beginning, that model worked beautifully. When it was just me, clients knew e

By Kaitlyn Argiro Owning a dog walking and pet sitting company is one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. It’s also one of the most demanding. What we do is deeply time-sensitive. Pets need to be fed, walked, medicated, and cared for on a schedule that doesn’t shift. There are no “we’ll get to it tomorrow” moments in this work. We can’t be late. We can’t reschedule because someone isn’t feeling well. And there are no true days off, because the responsibility never pa

While our standard visits are a fantastic way to maintain your pet’s routine and provide reliable midday care, some pups just crave a little extra! Spring in Leesburg brings blooming trails and warmer weather, but it also brings a familiar seasonal guest: the spring shower. When you look out the window at a downpour, it’s easy to understand why suiting up for a muddy walk isn't exactly appealing. However, your dog’s need for daily enrichment doesn’t pause for the weather. The good news? When you have our team on your regular schedule, your dog never has to miss out on their routine, and you never have to worry about the

By: Natalie Pons, Operations Coordinator at Pawsitivity Pet Services Kaitlyn, Founder/CEO This February marks Pawsitivity Pet Services seven-year anniversary, and I can’t help but reflect on a story our founder and CEO, Kaitlyn, shared from the early days of starting her business. Back when she was out in the field for every visit, she was walking a dog when a local police officer stopped to chat. When Kaitlyn modestly described herself as “just the dog walker”, the officer s
