Petco Adoption Event

2023 Low-cost Spay/Neuter Clinics for Outdoor, Feral and Barn Cats.

Date: June 28, 2023

Time Details: Drop off / Pick up will be scheduled.

Location: Loudoun County Animal Services

Address: 42225 Adoption Drive LEESBURG, VA 20175

Cost: $75/cat


All cats will be spay/neutered, microchipped, ear-tipped, vaccinated, dewormed and receive flea/tick treatment. You must register to attend a clinic. Cats must arrive in a humane trap. Trap rentals are available. Proof of Loudoun residency is required. You must sign up to reserve a surgery spot.



2023 Rabies and Microchip Clinic

Low-Cost Rabies Vaccination & Microchip Clinic


When: Tuesday, July 11, 2023 - 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Where: Loudoun County Animal Services (LCAS), 42225 Adoption Drive, Leesburg, VA


These are walk-in, low-cost rabies vaccination and microchip clinics. No appointments needed. Cats and dogs over 12 weeks of age are welcome to attend. Please bring cats in carriers and dogs on secure collars/harnesses and non-retractable leashes.

Please limit to no more than 4 pets/family per clinic.

To receive the three-year rabies vaccine, you must bring proof of prior vaccination. Cash or check preferred.

  • Microchips: $15 (free for Loudoun County residents)

  • Rabies vaccine: $10 (one- and- three-year vaccine)

  • Dog license: $10/year (runs concurrently with your dog's rabies vaccination)



Community Cat Bingo

When: every first and third Thursday from 5:30-7:30 PM

Where: Vanish Farmwoods Brewery 42245 Black Hops Lane Leesburg, VA, 20176


Get your bingo cards starting at 5:30. Each player in the first game receives a FREE bingo card. The first game starts at around 6:00. We plan on 12 games and we will play extra games if we have time. Enjoy local craft beer in a scenic setting, play bingo, and help save community cats and kittens. Four bingo cards are only $5 and you can win lots of great prizes! The event benefits the Loudoun Community Cat Coalition.



Finch knitting and sewing studio

When: July 17-20 (Mon-Thur), 1:00 - 4:00pm Ages: 8-17

Have you ever heard of a snuffle mat? Snuffle mats are a great enrichment tool. Join teachers Nicole and Tracy to make your own!



Yappy Hour

When: Every Wednesday from 4 – 9 PM

Where: Spanky's Shenanigans

538 E Market St, Leesburg, VA


Take your pup to Spanky’s Shenanigans for Yappy Hour on Wednesdays from April through October. You can bring your furry best friend for delicious food and a refreshing beverage while mingling with friends, old and new!



AV Symington Dog Swim

Date: 09/09/2023. Two sessions at 9am & 11am. Pre-registration required; no day of registration

Celebrate the end of the pool season with a dog swim at the AV Symington Aquatics Center. The pool will be open for dogs to swim and play in one of two time slots. Dog handlers 16 years of age and up are limited to two dogs per person. For the safety of all participants, children under the age of 12 are not permitted in the event area. All dogs must be legally licensed and vaccinated and shall wear a visible dog license. Bring your own doggie dish for water. Fee is charged for all people entering the gated area 12 years of age and older. There is no fee charged for dogs.



Dog Daze!

When: 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on October 29, 2023

Where: Glenwood Park in Middleburg, VA

Cost: Admission is free, but a parking fee of $15 - $20 is required and benefits Masters of Foxhounds Association Foundation.


Join for an incredible gathering of working canines and thrilling outdoor sporting activities that showcase their amazing prowess. From retrieving and herding to military maneuvers and agility, these pups are sure to amaze and entertain.

Indulge in delicious food truck cuisine, shop for paw-some goodies, and take part in canine-focused activities and contests for all ages. Plus, there's even a kid's zone for the little ones! Bring the whole family and come out for a full day of furry fun and adventure. Don't miss this one-of-a-kind experience!
